SELLER RULES

Seller Agreement

The standards that apply when a business applies for, receives and uses a ShopHive seller account.

Effective date: 28 July 2026

1. Application and approval

Submitting an application or paying a seller fee does not guarantee approval. ShopHive may verify information, request clarification, approve, reject, suspend or withdraw access to protect marketplace users. Applicants must provide truthful, current and complete information.

2. Seller fees

Any application or access fee, plan period and renewal condition must be shown before payment. Seller fees are paid manually to ShopHive through the displayed MoMo account and remain subject to admin verification. Product-sale commission is currently zero unless ShopHive gives sellers advance notice of a future change. Seller fees do not buy favourable rankings or immunity from enforcement.

3. Products and listings

Sellers are responsible for ensuring products are lawful, genuine, safe and accurately described. Prices, availability, delivery terms, subscription periods, renewal conditions and digital-access requirements must be clear. Counterfeit, stolen, dangerous, illegal, deceptive or rights-infringing products are prohibited.

4. Physical, digital and subscription products

A dispatch location is required where a seller offers physical products, including mixed catalogues. Digital-only and subscription-only sellers do not need a dispatch location. Digital files must be free from malicious code and delivered only to eligible buyers. Subscription listings must explain duration, benefits, renewal method and cancellation terms.

5. Orders and product payments

Unless ShopHive introduces a different checkout, buyers and sellers arrange product payment and fulfilment directly, usually through WhatsApp and MoMo. ShopHive does not hold those product funds in escrow. Sellers must verify payment independently, provide reasonable transaction records and never request a buyer’s PIN.

6. Fulfilment and customer service

Sellers must respond within represented timeframes, honour confirmed orders, package products safely, provide accurate delivery or access information, and address complaints fairly. Sellers remain responsible for refunds, replacements and cancellations arising from their products or conduct.

7. Reviews, ranking and promotions

Sellers must not fabricate reviews, reward only positive reviews, threaten reviewers or manipulate sales signals. Marketplace visibility may consider seller recency, sales performance, ratings, service quality, relevance, availability and policy compliance. Promotional claims must be accurate and honour their stated dates and limits.

8. Records, privacy and security

Sellers may use buyer information only to fulfil orders, provide support and meet lawful obligations. Buyer information must not be sold, spammed, exposed or reused for unrelated marketing without a valid basis. Sellers must protect account access and promptly report suspected compromise.

9. Reports and enforcement

ShopHive may review listings and communications submitted as evidence, pause products, reduce visibility, hold approval, suspend or remove accounts, and cooperate with lawful authorities. Serious illegality, fraud or safety risks may result in immediate action.

10. Seller responsibility

The seller is the merchant for products it lists and is responsible for its taxes, licences, warranties, claims and legal compliance. To the extent permitted by law, the seller must protect ShopHive from third-party claims caused by the seller’s products, listings, misconduct or violation of this agreement.
